Support the ACLU of Hawaiʻi During Foodland’s Give Aloha Campaign (Code: 77407)

Every day, the ACLU of Hawaiʻi works tirelessly to defend civil liberties, protect marginalized communities, and advance justice across the islands. This month, you have a unique opportunity to make your support go twice as far—without even changing your routine.

From now through September 30th, the ACLU of Hawaiʻi Foundation is participating in Foodland’s Annual Give Aloha Community Matching Gifts Program. When you make a donation at checkout, Foodland and its partners will match a portion of your gift, multiplying your impact on our vital legal, legislative, and community education work.

Foodland will match donations made to our organization up to $249 per Maikaʻi member.

While you are welcome to make a larger donation, please note that only the first $249 will be matched. Every single dollar raised stays right here in Hawaiʻi to fuel the fight for constitutional rights and systemic equality.

Supporting us at any Foodland, Foodland Farms, or Sack 'N Save location is simple. Just choose the method that works best for you when you check out:

• Direct Donation: Tell your cashier, “I would like to make a donation to the ACLU of Hawaiʻi.” Be sure to provide our unique organization code: 77407 (Listed as American Civil Liberties Union of Hawaii Foundation).
• Donate Maikaʻi Points: Put your loyalty points to great use! You can donate points in 250-point intervals, where every 250 points equals a $5 donation to our foundation.
• Round Up or Spare Change: Simply ask your cashier to round up your grocery purchase total to the nearest dollar, or donate your spare cash.
• Buy Give Aloha Merchandise: Keep an eye out for special, limited-edition Give Aloha merchandise available for purchase in-store, beautifully designed by local artist Suzanne Jennerich.
