At this interactive virtual event, ACLU staff highlighted our 2025 legislative priorities and our work to reform the justice system, protect reproductive rights, and legalize cannabis. We dove into how we can work together to make our voices heard at the Capitol.

The ACLU of Hawai‘i partnered with the Hawai‘i Innocence Project to honor the life of Marcellus (“Imam Khaliifa”) Williams, who was unlawfully killed by the state of Missouri.

We're excited to invite you to our event, Know Your Rights: Freedom to Assembly on Thursday, May 16 at 12 pm at the UH Manoa Richardson Law School.
The ACLU of Hawai‘i organized an educational presentation for students and activists who wanted to know more about exercising constitutional rights to free speech and when/how public institutions can restrict speech.
