The Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals ("ICA") has granted the ACLU of Hawaii's request to submit an amicus ("friend of the court") brief in a second case addressing the issue of whether medical cannabis patients are allowed to transport their medicine without being prosecuted. The brief will be similar to that filed in August in another case currently before the ICA; that brief is available here:
