Honolulu Prosecutor Candidate Forum

July 9, 2020 @ 6:30 pm
July 10, 2020 @ 7:45 pm

The ACLU of Hawai‘i will be hosting a candidate forum in anticipation of the upcoming Honolulu prosecutorial race. You’ll learn more about the role of a prosecutor and hear from the candidates on smart justice issues that are important to you. The link above is to the ACLU of Hawai'i's website where you can learn more about our work. For those who register for the forum you will receive the Zoom link closer to the event.

We are so excited for you to join us for the ACLU of Hawaii's first ever prosecutorial Honolulu candidate forum. Due to time constraints we will not be able to answer audience questions during the forum. However, if you’re interested in submitting a question prior to the forum you can send your question to Steven at SMedeiros@acluhawaii.org no later than Sunday, July 6. We will be choosing one to two questions submitted by registered participants to be included in the candidate forum.

Please note: The ACLU of Hawai‘i does not endorse or oppose candidates for elected office, but offered this opportunity to candidates to explain their positions on key smart justice issues to the communities they hope to serve.
