The ACLU of Hawai‘i (“ACLU-HI”) is grateful for the tremendous, dedicated volunteer work of its Board of Directors who serve three-year terms with eligibility for reelection.
Our ACLU-HI Board reflects our community’s beautiful diversity through representatives who self-identify as Native Hawaiian, South Asian, Palestinian, Latina, African American, Korean, Japanese, and much more.
The Board sets and implements the affiliate’s strategic plan alongside our Senior Leadership Team (“SLT”), maintains the organization’s overall governance and fiscal health, and evaluates the Executive Director (“ED”).
ACLU-HI also stewards multiple Board Committees which meet monthly to advise ACLU-HI programs and ensure that our work remains rigorous and steadfast.
Due to personal security reasons, the Board of Directors has chosen not to list their names on the ACLU-HI website. If you would like more information regarding our Board of Directors or if you have interest in joining the Board, please reach out to [email protected].
