This bill, companion bill HB 202, gives authorization for courts to expunge the records of a person for certain offenses that are related to homelessness. The existing offenses must not involve bodily harm or threat of bodily harm. The court will waive any outstanding fees and fines associated with the offense if the person has satisfied the court's application requirements and has expressed willingness to seek counseling.
